19 May 2026, Pasay City – Informa Markets’ PhilEnergy Expo, the Comprehensive Energy Trade Event in the Philippines is set to hold its 4th edition on 24 – 26 June 2026 at the World Trade Center, focusing with the theme Shaping the Philippine Sector for a Sustainable Future. The event highlights its significance to the market, especially in these times when the energy sector is at the forefront of addressing sustainability and innovation challenges. PhilEnergy is a B2B event that promises to be a transformative platform where opportunities are unlocked, and pressing challenges in Philippine energy market, particularly in renewable energy, are addressed.

Shaping the Philippine Sector for a Sustainable Future

The industry highlights the urgent need to transition towards cleaner and more sustainable energy solutions in light of the growing challenges within the sector. As the Philippines confronts national issues such as rising oil prices, increasing electricity costs, and the ongoing global energy crisis, the PhilEnergy Expo aims to inspire discussions, foster actionable solutions, and strengthen collaboration among stakeholders. The event underscores the critical role of renewable energy in addressing these challenges and enhancing the Philippines’ energy system, which remains heavily reliant on imported fossil fuels. Renewable energy plays an important role in the sector and through optimizing the country’s natural resources such as solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal energy, Philippines can stabilize energy costs, reduce imported fuel dependency, and help combat climate change. Hence, PhilEnergy’s theme, Shaping the Philippine Energy Sector for a Sustainable Future, emphasizes that achieving a sustainable energy future requires collective effort and decisive action.

“The energy sector in Asia faces unprecedented challenges such as rising oil prices, increasing electricity costs, and the global energy crisis. Philippines is no exception. I see that PhilEnergy 2026 is more important than ever as it provides a platform for stakeholders to come together, exchange ideas, and explore innovative solutions that will shape the future of energy in the Philippines”, Ms. Rungphech Chitanuwat, Country General Manager of Informa Markets Philippines.

Between 2026 and 2034, the Philippines’ renewable energy sector is projected to grow at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 8.06%, reaching approximately USD 41.87 billion by 2034. This growth is largely driven by the Department of Energy’s Green Energy Auction Program (GEAP), which aims to add 25 GW of renewable capacity by 2035. The demand for electric and hybrid vehicles continues to rise as consumers seek alternatives to mitigate the impact of oil price hikes, driven by increasing environmental awareness and the need for energy-efficient transportation solutions. Additionally, the energy storage, energy efficiency, and electric power markets are experiencing significant growth, presenting vast opportunities to address the country’s electricity and energy challenges through innovative and sustainable solutions supported by government initiatives.

Energizing Innovation and Industry Dialogue

Now in its 4th edition, PhilEnergy offers a more content-rich program, providing attendees with access to a variety of high-level seminar sessions that address critical topics in the energy sector. This is made possible through the strong support of government agency partners, particularly the Department of Energy, as well as key industry associations. Among the highlights is the BiGSHOW at the Center Stage, organized by the Developers of Renewable Energy for Advancement (DREAM) Inc., which will bring together leaders from six major renewable energy sectors to share cutting-edge insights, innovations, and strategic directions shaping the future of sustainable energy in the Philippines. PhilEnergy is honored to host seminar sessions by both the Department of Energy and the Department of Trade and Industry– Philippine Accreditation Bureau, which will focus on the current energy landscape and roadmap, as well as the accreditation process and best practices for energy sector stakeholders, respectively.

Attendees can also look forward to sessions by the Center for Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technology (CREST) and the Philippine Energy Research and Policy Institute (PERPI), which will delve into renewable energy projects and sustainable technologies in the Philippine market. This year, PhilEnergy is proud to welcome the Philippine Infrastructure and Construction Club (PICC) as a new partner, featuring its Future of Green Resilience Program, which showcases sustainable infrastructure solutions.

This edition is even larger and more impactful as PhilEnergy strategically co-locates with Livestock Philippines and Aquaculture Philippines, fostering synergy across overlapping sectors such as waste-to-energy, biogas, and other sustainable agricultural practices. This co-location enhances value for both exhibitors and visitors by promoting cross-industry collaboration and driving innovation. PhilEnergy is set to host over 100 local and international exhibitors and attract 5,000 quality trade buyers. Admission is free through https://ers-ph.informa-info.com/pe26
