ACCESS MCLE, powered by ACCESS Inc., was founded by Atty. Peaches Martinez-Aranas of LMA law firm, and is the country’s first accredited online MCLE provider. As a pioneer, ACCESS MCLE has laid down the legal groundwork for this innovative, groundbreaking program. It is currently the only provider with available courses for the seventh compliance period and is now designing its course offerings for the eighth compliance period.

“ACCESS MCLE is the only provider that presented the proof of concept to the Supreme Court en banc, paving the way for the conduct of online MCLE in the Philippines. It was through our efforts that MCLE online is now a reality. And though others have followed suit, we remain to be the country’s trusted leading online MCLE provider,” Atty. Aranas says proudly.

Through this fully digital platform, lawyers can now fulfill their MCLE requirements online and in the comfort of their own homes or offices, without the hassle of enduring traffic and sacrificing their billable hours.

ACCESS MCLE continually launches new and exciting interactive courses developed by its impressive roster of lecturers that include current and retired Justices, judges, academic leaders, and deans of law universities.

Some of the legal luminaries who have lent their expertise and are headlining some of these very courses are Retired Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio of the Supreme Court of the Philippines, Associate Justice Cathy Manahan of the Court of Tax Appeals, retired Associate Justice Magdangal De Leon of the Court of Appeals, Deputy Commissioner for National Privacy Commission Atty. Leandro Aguirre, Chief of the Legal Division of the Bureau of Immigration Atty. Arvin Santos, and retired SEC Chairwoman Atty. Teresita Herbosa, among others.

To further secure its foothold in the industry and lending academic credibility to the program, ACCESS MCLE partnered with Adamson University’s College of Law in 2017.

For Atty. Aranas, partnering with the premier academic law institution was an easy choice to make as “The Adamson University College of Law is a prestigious, reliable institution that stands firm on its commitment to provide quality education for all. ACCESS shares the same vision and believes that this unity in purpose will usher our learners to become better advocates of Philippine laws.”

Atty. Anna Maria D. Abad, Dean of Adamson University College of Law, feels the same, adding, “We are now on our third year. The Adamson College of Law has been very lucky and blessed to have found such a good partner in ACCESS. Aside from the main objective of updating law practitioners with the new developments in legal practice, the partnership is committed to providing innovative and creative ways of promoting and conducting a continuing legal education program with cutting-edge topics that are both thought-provoking developmental and transformative in nature. The aim is also to initiate and continue the conversation on national and international concerns that affect the study and practice of law.”

With two very accomplished women lawyers at the helm, ACCESS MCLE and Adamson University College of Law look forward to further strengthening the partnership and helping more lawyers through ACCESS MCLE’s groundbreaking program.
